Urgent Opening for Sr. Engineer Quality
Posotion : Sr. Engineer (Quality)
Qualification : Diploma / B.Tech. (Mech. Engg.)
CTC : Rs. 4.50 - 5.40 lacs p.a.
Experience: 8 - 10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer (especially in customer handling) particularly in the Automotive Filters (Air Filter, Oil Filter, and Fuel Filter) manufacturing Industry. No candidate from other industries will be considered for this profile.
Responsibilities:
1. Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
2. Liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications.
3. Ensuring compliance with Company Quality Systems.
4. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
5. Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
6. Writing technical and management systems reports.
7. Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
8. Agreeing on standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
9. Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
10. Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
11. Knowledge about measurement system analysis and calibration of instruments.
12. Preparing clear explanatory documents such as customers’ charters.
13. Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
14. Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
