Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall organization, management direction and control of all factory functional departments and to ensure that production output is maximized.
- To organize and control all production within the factory to achieve all output targets in terms of quantity, quality, unit costs, and customer service requirements.
- Direct and control all factory staff to ensure that they are properly motivated, trained, and developed, and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Schedule and coordinate all aspects of production operations, to ensure that output and quality & delivery targets are achieved.
- Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment are effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the cost-effective provision of services to the factory.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term plans to ensure that the factory has the necessary resources to meet business objectives.
- Develop effective working relationships with all employees to ensure the maintenance of harmonious employee relations within the factory.
- Monitor and control the factory budget to ensure that all financial and business objectives are met.
- Ensure the Quality Management System based on IATF 16949: 2016 is adhered to.
- Reviews of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Process Control Plans, Gage R&R
- Plan, Schedule, execute System, process &product audits to provide support to ongoing QA
- Supplier selection, perform Supplier Assessment at candidate Suppliers.
- Alignment of TPM with Business objectives. Internal Audits – QMS, BRC, EMS
- Responsible for Incoming, In-process, Final Inspection & Rejection / Rework Analysis.
- Process Audits at in-house and supplier end.
- Management Representative in QMS, EMS, FSC & BRC systems.
- Perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time.
- Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team.
- Design policies that align with the overall strategy.
- Implement efficient processes and standards.
- Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection).
