Designation: Plant Quality In-charge

Overall Purpose of the Role: 
Should be able to manage Plant Quality. Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including TS16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHAS 18001), accreditation requirements, and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures.

Regulate, control, and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product. 
Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. 
Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: -

  • To handle overall In-process quality of the plant, including evaluation of In-process inspection, problem identification, analysis and solving.
  • Independently handling of Mitutoyo/Zeiss CMM including programming, problem-solving, calibration and Inspection.
  • Handing of other inspection room instruments like contour, profile projector, roundness tester, roughness tester…etc
  • Ensuring proper implementation of defined systems and methods on the shop floor.
  • Defining and maintaining quality methods/procedures and documentation in conjunction with the operation team.
  • Ensuring compliance with related quality standards and formulates and managing the development and implementation of QA/QC goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

  • Quality Management System (QMS). implementation and communication to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns.
  • Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits
  • Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS
  • Manage the audit nonconformity data base and Provide detailed 4. Strong knowledge of the latest Automotive tools and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of In-process quality systems, methods, instruments, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Fully skilled for handling Mitutoyo/Zeiss CMM including programming, problem solving, calibration and Inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of Gears manufacturing and Inspection along with other machining operations like turning, milling, broaching, Induction hardening…etc
  • Fully skilled for handing other inspection room instruments like contour, profile projector, roundness tester, roughness tester…etc
